Over the years, we’ve helped charities of all sizes raise thousands of pounds for excellent causes. This year, our employee-led charity of choice is the Guide Dogs. They work to give people with sight loss the confidence and skills they need to live the life they choose. Almost 2 million people in the UK are living with sight loss that has a significant impact on their daily lives. By 2050, there could be nearly 4 million.

Our Guide Dog Fundraising Activities

Our goal is to help Guide Dogs raise much needed funds. They rely on donations from the public to keep their life-changing services running. Recent statistics revealed less than 1% of their income came from government funding.
So, every penny really counts, for example:

  • £5 could support a working guide dog partnership for a day

  • £18 could buy a harness handle for a guide dog

  • £30 could cover the cost of a visit to the vet

This year we have a host of fun-filled fund-raising activities lined up. From adventurous Sky Dives, to the Coniston Challenge, to our ever-popular Bake Sales.

Previous Fundraising Activities

Last year we supported the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse across the UK. Helping children rebuild their lives, protect those at risk and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening again.

2017 Partner: NSPCC

During 2017, we took part in some wonderful fundraising activities. We set ourselves a target of £25,000 and we are proud to say that we smashed this target and raised a grand total of £25,713!

Just check out some of the awesome things we got up to:

We set about our Royal Bake Sale to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen's birthday. Lots of baked goodies were brought in across all of our offices.
We lost toe nails, gained huge blisters & developed backaches taking part in the Downs Link Challenge. A grand total of 12 hours+ were spent completing the course on bike or foot. A great family day out with work and to top it off, we raised a huge £2,000
A Halloween Pumpkin carving competition took place, with lots of the kiddies joining in on the fun (and the big kiddies too). Our Chairman had a hard time deciding the winner!
6 very brave people took part in the biggest challenge of them all…the London Marathon. With hours of training and dedication, all 6 crossed the finish line and to top it off, we managed to raise a staggering £12,000.
