Local Government IT Excellence Awards 2009

A collaborative project from WDC and OCSL has been entered for the prestigious Local Government IT Excellence Awards in the category of Sustainable ICT. The submission highlights the use of virtualisation within WDC and the strong ROI achieved. Chief Executive of WDC, Chris Elliot commented "The Virtualisation project is cost effective and absolutely key to the council achieving the objectives of Building on Excellence"

The Awards are drawn in October 2009.
