Management

The OCSL-MS Management Service includes the full management of storage arrays, management of servers and OS and management of switches and other SAN infrastructure using ITIL principles from zoning and storage allocations to 24/7 monitoring and fully managed support.

OCSL-MS will work with you to scope and agree your particular requirements then agree a customised contract that gives you total control of costs for the duration of the agreement.

OCSL-MS Management can include any or all other Managed Services:

  • Hosting
  • Backup
  • MetricStore
  • Cloud Services

Management can also include Site to Site Replication, Mobile Data Centre Disaster Recovery and Storage on Demand utility services.

  • Proactive maintenance – we manage host bus adapter firmware and microcode upgrades, compatibility checks and the reclamation of old storage all whilst maintaining up to date documentation for your environment

  • Provisioning – we offer fully managed storage provisioning
  • Effective utilisation – we ensure that the storage platform in which you’ve invested is being used efficiently and to the maximum utilisation levels. We also ensure that storage provisioning is professionally managed to the highest standards

  • Notification and event summary
  • Configuration and preventative recommendations
  • Proactive maintenance summary
