Protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of our information assets and ensuring that services provided by OCSL-MS are constantly available for operation, called for an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
OCSL-MS also maintain a documented Quality Management System (QMS), to ensure that our processes and services conform to both internal and customer’s specification and requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.
Our Information Security and Quality Management Systems are certified to ISO27001:2005 and to ISO9001:2008 respectively. The systems are formally audited by an external UKAS accredited certification body to certify that they conform with the explicit management controls defined by ISO.
With this is mind, our clients can be assured that we function in a disciplined and systematic way and recognise that OCSL-MS is an organisation committed to adhering to the highest level of Information Security and Quality best practice.
Information Governance Statement of Compliance (IG SoC)
OCSL-MS have an assessment score rating of 100% for The Information Governance Statement of Compliance (IG SoC). As such, we have entered into an agreement with NHS Connecting for Health (NHS CFH) for access to the NHS National Network (N3). IG SoC sets out strict terms and conditions for use of NHS CFH systems and services including the N3. With a score of 100% we can provide assurance in respect of safeguarding the N3 network and information assets that may be accessed.
OCSL-MS N3 Services offer a secure and reliable high-bandwidth connection that enables you to take advantage of the new technology applications offered by the National Health Service (NHS). These future NHS N3 services include fast transmission of digital images such as X-rays or scans, electronic booking, electronic patient records and Electronic Transcription Prescription (ETP).
OCSL-MS’s N3 Network services has proved of great interest to Trusts, general practitioners, dentists and NHS Application Service Suppliers. This allows customers to prepare their sites for N3 that fits their schedule and budget. The added benefit of this approach is that it allows customers to begin collecting on their N3 NHS monthly payments.
OCSL-MS are a registered LIR with the Europe internet body “RIPE”. This means we operate our “own” independent IP ranges. We have multiple Internet connections from diverse transit providers, which allow us to fail IP ranges between providers in seconds in the event of circuit or provider network issue.
